Beautiful hotel with a gorgeous view of the volcano at Arenal. The staff were super nice, it was very easy to get help with anything. Everyone spoke English and were happy to help you with your Spanish if you wanted it. Food was delicious, hot springs were delightful. White water tubing and viewing the animals at the Nature Center were truly memorable activities.
We did not use it, but the gym was beautiful, there was even a separate cardio room set up with a view of the volcano. We did not use the spa, but we heard it was very nice. Would definitely recommend this place!

I cried when I had to leave this hotel. We had a beautiful junior suite with a spectacular view of the volcano. From our terrace we saw beautiful birds and even a family of monkeys. Our cleaner Norma cleaned our room to the highest of standards. The staff throughout the complex were so incredibly friendly and couldn’t do enough for you.
On our last day we were walking from the restaurant to reception when one of the minibus drivers that had helped us earlier that day stopped us and took us to some trees where there was a sloth with its baby. I really wish I had caught the drivers name as it was an amazing experience and I wish I could have thanked him properly.
The facilities at the hotel are exceptional and well maintained. We really enjoyed eating in the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner thanks to the amazing choice and the staff. We are already planning our next trip back! 10/10 would recommend.

The staff are, across the board, eager to help with any and everything you could possibly need. The food, whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, is offered in wide varieties and everything we ate was amazing. While we did not get a chance to experience the spa services, I heard nothing but rave reviews. It’s easiest to spend most of your time at the swim up bar in the main pool where you will meet interesting travelers from all over the world while relaxing in a thermal bath heated deep within the earth’s crust. Book a stay at the Royal Corin if you are looking for real luxury and pampering.
Oh, and did I mention it sits directly in the shadow of a beautiful, massive, impressive, active volcano that you can observe emitting steam out of its crater early in the morning? This place is, simply put, a “must experience.”
